What is Crowdpurr?
If you’ve ever organized an event, you might have come across Crowdpurr. Crowdpurr helps you create fun, interactive, mobile-driven experiences for your live, virtual, and hybrid events. It’s great for live polling, trivia, and keeping an audience engaged with your content. I’ve used it before, and it can be a solid tool—but sometimes I’ve found that it doesn’t fully solve one key challenge: getting attendees to actually talk to each other, especially the introverts in the room.
Introducing Jam Bingo
That’s why I’ve been really excited about Jam Bingo from Jam Social. Jam Bingo is a digital icebreaker game that flips the focus from audience-to-screen to person-to-person interaction. It’s perfect for introverted attendees who might otherwise hang back at events, unsure how to start a conversation.

Words can only explain so much. Watch this short video to see how Jam Bingo gets introverted attendees talking and interacting at events:
How Jam Bingo Gets People Talking
Here’s how it works:
- Each participant scans a QR code to join the game on their phone.
- They receive prompts like “Ask someone what their favorite childhood game was” or “Find someone who has traveled to three different continents.”
- As they complete prompts, they check off items on their digital bingo card.
The result? People are walking around, talking, and interacting naturally instead of just watching a screen. I’ve seen introverted attendees, the ones who would usually hide in the corner, actually start conversations and connect with others. It’s a digital twist on the classic networking bingo game, which means no printing is required, even for larger events.
Why I Prefer Jam Bingo
While Crowdpurr is excellent for quizzes, polls, and live audience responses, Jam Bingo is about creating authentic human connections.
For any event where networking and meaningful conversations are part of the goal—conferences, mixers, workshops, or even high school events—Jam Bingo can turn a room of strangers into a room of people actually talking and engaging with each other.
A Better Alternative to Crowdpurr
If you’re looking for a Crowdpurr alternative that goes beyond clicks and screens and actually helps attendees open up, I highly recommend checking out Jam Bingo. It’s simple, fun, and one of the best ways I’ve seen to make events more interactive for everyone, introverts included.
